Burkina Faso Update
August 2006
Wennam ya somma...wusgo. God is so very good. The Lord has blessed us so much. To allow us to come along side of the
Burkinabe and help them.....what a privilege.
This year we were able to build 60 new churches...so far. We still want to build another 40. Our plan is to go back to Burkina in
October and finish our goal of the 40 new church roofs, that will make a total of 100 new churches built this year. Bark Wennam
(thanks to God). The vision for 500 new churches is getting closer.....310 so far.
The only thing that may stop us from doing that is the lack of rain. The rain this year has been a bit sporadic and so the crops may not
come in well. We have been praying that the crops are good enough and that the food supply is sufficient. If it is not, then we
will be buying grain instead of church roofs.
Our plans are to go to Burkina for 2-3 weeks this October - then to go back for a longer stay in February of 2007. We are also planning on
bringing Daniel and Elisabeth over to Oregon next Spring for a visit.
If you want to help with the church building or to buy food for the Burkinabe, then send a check to either Calvary Chapel Bend or Calvary Chapel
Grants Pass. Make sure your check is marked ``Africa`` in the memo section.
